The Team
Anthony Kiernan is aged 50 and he is married with two adult children. Anthony lives with his wife and children in Tunbridge Wells and Port Frejus. Anthony is a long standing member of the Law Society Children Panel and an Accredited Specialist for Resolution and particularly in Advocacy in children’s cases and finance cases. Anthony was formally Chairman of the Citizen’s Advice Bureau of Tunbridge Wells, Chairman of the West Kent Domestic Violence Forum, Chairman of Governors of a local state school and more recently President of the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks District Law Society for two years.
Having left school at 16 Anthony has worked his way up through the university of life to become a solicitor. A Legal Executive before qualifying as a solicitor Anthony was then partner in two firms of solicitors before starting up awklaw in 2002.
Anthony has a reputation for fierce defence of his client’s interests and sympathetic representation.
Sue Austen. Sue is younger than Anthony, divorced with two adult children. Sue is Anthony’s Personal Assistant and the two work closely together as a team. Sue had another career before joining Anthony in 2006 but is now a fast learning trainee Legal Executive.
Elizabeth Ahearn joined Anthony when awklaw was formed and is responsible for dealing with the practice finances. She has a wealth of experience in such matters.
Debbie Kiernan married to Anthony, Debbie assists in the practice in a secretarial and administrative function.
Others are recruited in the practice from time to time to assist and in particular Alexander Kiernan who is a Law Student assists in the practice particular in the area of technology.
